My scanners are built on a David-Laserscanner system. This software is really awesome, but you need to get a license, if you want to use all features.
One of my design goals is, to keep the costs of my scanners as low as possible.
Has anybody experience with alternative software for Structured-Light-Scanners?
Is there an Open-Source alternative available?
Hi Bernard and congrats for great job!
Wondering what are the total cost for the virtu zoom scanner package?
I took the prices from the Euro Amazon Page:
David Laserscanner: 329 EUR
Arduino: 35EUR
Servo: 30 EUR
12mm lens: 30 EUR
Macro lens: 20 EUR
Logitech C615: 61 EUR
Acer K11: 329 EUR
Total Electronics: 834 EUR
3D-Printed parts: 80 EUR (guess)
Delivery, HDMI cable, USB cable, etc . . .
My guess is that the parts for the 3D scanner would cost about 1.000 EUR.
