Hi!

3D scanning is a complex task and there are a lot of different technologies to turn a real-world object into a 3D model.

Each technology has its advantages for a certain type of object.

We will give you examples for some scanning scenarios like: people, busts, statues, rooms, cars, aso

Of course, technology is moving fast and it might be that someone finds a better way to scan a person. In this case, we will update the Best Practice scenario.

We try to show you always the most efficient way for a certain scanning scenario. If you find a good tutorial, please post it in one of the forums, the admins will then move to the Best Practice forum.

Happy scanning!

Hi!

We have such a system running in Vienna, Austria. It works pretty amazing. There is a cheaper option using Raspberry Pi to capture tje fotos.

Just drop me a line: office@virtumake.com

Best,
