These are the building instructions of VirtuZoom Microscope 3D-Scanner Release V04 a) print all parts b) glue the part “Acer left” on a wood shelf, big enough that you can glue all 3d-printed parts on it c) fit the beamer on the part “Acer left” and loosely put the part “Acer right” on the beamer and mark its position d) position all 3d-printed parts on the shelf an make sure, they are positioned like in the drawing. e) glue the parts on the shelf f) pout the servo in the part “holder servo” g) remove the stand from the webcam with some force (i didn't figure out how to remove the webcam stand properly) h) remove all plastic parts from the front of the camer, until you see 4 screws. i) reomove the scews j) use pliers to break out the autofocus part from the webcam. remove the little blue led with a screw driver (just break it out). k) cut a hole in the front of the webcam (the part with the 4 screws) big enough to fit the 12mm lens through. l) screw the front part of the webcam on the webcam. m) This part is tricky! put the webcam into the part “holder c615” and plug it in the computer. n) plac the probe holder on the center of the servo o) adjust the focus of the lens into its middle position. put the lens into the hole of the webcam. p) move the lens as long into the webcam, until you get a sharp, centered image of the tip of the probe holder. q) glue the lens in its position. r) wire the servo s) put the acer beamer into the microscope. |
