Hi Bernhard,

as I have written there seems to be no development since 2011, many links are dead and the laserline technique seems to bo the same like David Laserscanner :( .

Is David able to scan continuously with a vertical Laser line?

I just tried it with a horizontal setup.

Yes you are right normally not, but Intricad gets 3D-geometry also with projecting a laserline on the object like David do. So the basical prinziple isn't that different. Nevertheless I think WalterMo has tried this with his "Low-cost linear scanner" see http://forum.david-3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1486&hilit=continous
