DIY and Entry-Level 3D-Scanner Forum

Hi,

i use skanect, but even with simple viewer i have nothing good. It seems that this mineral glasses reflect infrared or something like that. i will do some screen capture with and without if i had some times. I see some probleme to synchronise data received by carmine. if i put plastic glasses the scaner crop up and bottom part of scanned view, i have to put my hand or put the scanner near a wall and go back to re-synchronise depth color adjustment.

Now i have more hudge problemes with my carmine due to new firmware: I espect lag, long detecting sensor under skanect... and somtime no sensor at all.

I've got a question about getting 2.5+ lenses for the Carmine 1.09 scanner. I've contact my local Edmund Optics branch and they've requested for me to send them an optical path illustration concept/drawing. I have no idea what that means or how to illustrate an optical path.

Appreciate any help I can get! Thanks!
